Bridge Art is a no profit cultural association, an independent space sited in Noto (SR). Its vision is being a bridge between Italian and foreign realities, promoting the multicultural integration processes through the dialogue. The co-founders of the project are: Lori Adragna (art critic and contemporary art curator), Cristina Bertarelli (specialized coach in sustaining the expats) and Valeria Valenza (germanist and specialized writer in civilization didactics). The idea, born in 2013 in New York, developed with the presentation of a program at the UNIS - United Nations International School. At the base, there is the analysis of the relational vacuum and the social, affective and identity displacement that the expat people suffer, when they approach to different civilizations. The aim is educating the young people to the change, offering them the possibility of overcoming prejudices and fears through the realization of a work in common. In 2015 a contemporary art and artist residencies format was created in the Tenuta La Favola in Noto, a place where to make experiments on bio products. Bridge Art arrived at the EXPO of Milan, invited in Cluster biomediterraneo, in MAXXI, MACRO and Galleria Nazionale of Rome and in CUMO -, partner of Bridge Art. Among the curators of the residency projects: Antonio Arévalo (Chile), Helia Hamedani (Iran), Lorenzo Madaro (Italy). According with its mission, the project offers the possibility of partnership, which allows a cultural and artistic exchange through people, services or promotion between artists and cultural operators both in Italy and abroad.
